Laurie Goldsmith Sperandio is a 57-year-old mom, living in Irvington, New York with her husband and daughter. After a 20-year career in the corporate world, but always having a passion for fitness, she became a certified AFAA personal trainer. Her locally taught classes in body sculpting, specializing in strength, balance, and coordination became some of the most popular in the area. Her personal training clientele are mainly women with real lives like her own, trying to stay fit, juggling career, husband, kids, menopause etc.
At the age of 51, she competed and won the title of 2003 All Natural New York State Masters Division Champion and at the age of 52 she won even a bigger title 2004 All Natural New York State Fitness Champion (beating out every younger woman in the show).
Laurie is certified by the prestigious National Academy Sports Medicine as a personal trainer. She is also certified in obesity prevention, preteen, and teen training. This has enabled her to specialize in whole family fitness.
She believes that everyone should strive to be the best they can be, and try to put aside at least one hour a day just for themself. She has a life like many other Moms' and knows how difficult staying healthy can be.
